ConfidentialRegional / OTR Hotshot Driver Position: Regional / OTR Driver Equipment: 1-Ton Dually Pickup & 40' Gooseneck Trailer Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking a dependable, safety-conscious Regional/OTR Hotshot Driver to operate a 1-ton dually pickup truck with a 40-foot gooseneck trailer. The driver will be responsible for safely transporting freight to customers and job sites throughout regional and interstate routes while maintaining excellent communication and professionalism. This position is ideal for an experienced driver who takes pride in their equipment, understands the importance of on-time delivery, and is comfortable spending extended periods on the road. If interested, please call 662-315-2151. Responsibilities Safely operate a 1-ton dually pickup and 40' gooseneck trailer. Transport freight safely and efficiently across regional and OTR routes. Properly load, secure, and inspect cargo before and during transportation. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer. Maintain accurate delivery, mileage, fuel, and trip documentation. Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, shippers, and receivers. Arrive at pickup and delivery locations on time. Follow all applicable DOT, FMCSA, state, and federal regulations. Maintain a clean and organized truck and trailer. Report maintenance concerns, delays, accidents, or other issues promptly. Safely operate in varying weather, traffic, and road conditions. Provide proof of delivery and other required documentation. Maintain a professional appearance and courteous attitude with customers. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Previous experience pulling a gooseneck trailer preferred. Hotshot, hauling, or commercial driving experience preferred. Ability to safely operate a 1-ton dually and 40' gooseneck trailer. Strong understanding of cargo securement and safe towing practices. Ability to pass required background and driving-record checks. Ability to pass a drug screening, if required. Reliable, responsible, and punctual. Strong communication and customer-service skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability and willingness to travel regionally and/or OTR. Ability to safely lift, secure, and handle freight as required. Job Requirements Must be comfortable being away from home for extended periods depending on assigned routes. Must be willing to work varying schedules, including occasional weekends or holidays when needed. Must be able to safely enter/exit the truck and inspect equipment. Must maintain a valid driver's license and all required driving qualifications. Must comply with company safety policies and applicable transportation regulations.
