Commercial Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate

Responsibilities Safely operate company box truck or cargo van to deliver products to commercial clients and customers, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Load and unload materials using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while following safe lifting practices Manage route driving efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups across assigned areas Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure compliance with safety standards and report any issues promptly Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel, and management regarding deliveries, schedules, and any issues that arise Complete deliveries in a professional and courteous manner while maintaining good relationships with customers Maintain the cleanliness and proper condition of the company vehicle Assist with warehouse operations including inventory management, stock replenishment, and organizing shipments for dispatch Experience Proven experience in delivery driving within a commercial or courier environment, preferably involving box trucks or vans Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs. Strong knowledge of safe manual handling practices and heavy lifting techniques in accordance with workplace safety standards Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Familiarity with DOT regulations related to weight handling in the workplace and commercial vehicle operation Ability to operate mobile devices for route navigation, delivery updates, and communication purposes Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliveries efficiently while maintaining safety at all times Hands-on warehouse experience with material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 – 46.0 per week Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid sick time Paid time off Vision insurance People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Ability to Commute: Edison, NJ 08820 (Required) Work Location: In person
