Our client is seeking a Commercial Construction Contract & Procurement Manager to lead sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management for new builds, remodels, and infrastructure projects. This role supports the Design & Construction team and ensures materials, equipment, and services are procured efficiently, cost‑effectively, and in alignment with project timelines.

- 3 years of functional experience.
- 5 years of management experience.
- 5+ years of experience in construction sourcing or procurement.

- Deep understanding of construction timelines, materials, and procurement best practices.
Requirements:
Strategic Procurement & Sourcing
- Lead competitive bidding, vendor selection, and contract negotiation.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for construction materials, equipment, and services.
- Partner with project managers and internal stakeholders to forecast procurement needs.
Supplier & Contractor Management
- Build vendor redundancy to reduce risk and ensure continuity.
- Manage supplier performance, compliance, and contract adherence.
- Review and redline contracts to maintain corporate terms and conditions.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard qualified contractors, suppliers, and specialty vendors.
Project Execution Support
- Oversee procurement for new builds, remodels, and infrastructure upgrades.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and services to meet project schedules.
- Verify that sourced materials meet specifications, quality standards, and budget requirements.
Budgeting & Cost Control
- Support development of project budgets and cost forecasts.
- Monitor market trends and pricing to adjust sourcing strategies.
- Identify cost‑saving opportunities without compromising quality or timelines.
Team Collaboration & Leadership
- Mentor and support junior procurement staff.
- Maintain strong relationships with external vendors and partners.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, architects, and engineering teams.
Qualifications (Must-Haves)
- Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills.
- 5+ years of experience in commercial construction sourcing or procurement.
- Experience supporting new builds and remodels in commercial environments.
- Strong negotiation, contract management, and vendor‑management skills.
- Understanding construction timelines, materials, and procurement best practices.
- Minimum 5 years of management experience and 3 years of functional procurement experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or related field.
Preferred Skills:
- CPSM, PMP, or similar certification.
