We are looking for a driven, high-energy B2B Sales Representative to accelerate our growth in the multi-family housing, apartment complex, and property management sectors. Position Overview In this role, you will be the face of McAuliffe’s commercial division for apartment complexes, multi-family communities and other small locally owned businesses that we serve. You won't just be selling products; you will be delivering complete maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) solutions. From fast-tracking unit-turnover supplies (paint, plumbing, fixtures) to securing bulk orders for hardware, grounds maintenance, and outdoor power equipment, you will position McAuliffe's as the ultimate single-source partner for Property Managers and Maintenance Supervisors. Key Responsibilities Drive New Business: Actively prospect, cold-call, and network to lock in commercial accounts with local apartment complexes, multi-family communities, and property management firms. Constantly be on the lookout for new businesses walking into our store and find new opportunities for us to develop. Own the Relationship: Build deep partnerships with Property Managers and Maintenance Chiefs. Be their first call for daily maintenance needs, emergency fixes, and capital improvement projects. Consultative MRO Selling: Walk properties, identify operational pain points, and present tailored supply solutions (e.g., bulk pricing, customized delivery, and stocked inventory) that save them time and money. Leverage Our Full Catalog: Promote McAuliffe’s extensive commercial offerings, including top-tier paint brands, hardware, tools, plumbing/electrical supplies, and commercial rental equipment. Territory & Pipeline Management: Manage sales cycles from lead generation to close, tracking your pipeline and consistently hitting growth targets. Qualifications Experience: 2–5 years of successful B2B outside sales experience. Direct experience selling to the property management, multi-family housing, or construction industry is a major plus. The \Hunter\ Mentality: A proven track record of developing new relationships, navigating gatekeepers, and closing new commercial business. Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the Marysville and Central Ohio market. Product Familiarity: General knowledge of hardware, building materials, or MRO supplies is highly beneficial. Requirements: High organizational skills, proficiency with CRM/sales tools, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record for daily local travel.
