Combo Vac Truck Operator — $40–$45/hr, Home Daily

Our company is a family-owned water, vacuum and combo vac trucking company based in Sylvan Lake, Alberta, with a satellite location in Edson. They are hiring full-time, experienced combo vac truck operators for the Edson region. Shift lengths vary, but most days finish by day's end so you can get home daily.
What you'll do
- Run combo vac and straight vac trucks to support service rigs in the Eds

on region.
- Keep your truck and equipment in good mechanical shape and tell maintenance staff about any problems.
- Complete daily logs, time sheets, trip reports and any other paperwork the project calls for.
- Work within client scopes of work, site-specific hazard rules and company policies.
- Handle and position heavy vacuum hoses.
Pay and perks
- $40.00-$45.00 per hour.

What you need
- A valid Class 1 or Class 3 license with Air Brake endorsement.
- A clean driver's abstract that you can provide.
- Experience with manual transmissions and with monitoring gauges, levers and pressure systems.
- At least 1 year of hands-on fluid hauling or well servicing work; a mix of water, vacuum and combo vac experience is preferred.
- Valid H2S Alive, Standard First Aid & CPR and Common Safety Orientation (CSO) tickets, plus WHMIS, TDG and Confined Space Entry.
- Mechanical aptitude, and the ability to lift and carry 50 lbs or more, including fluid-handling equipment.
