Job Title: Collectibles E-commerce Operations Associate Company Name: Wayne Industries Location: Chula Vista, CA Job Type: Full Time About Us We are an online collectibles auction platform. We take in consignments from around the world and list them for auction on E-commerce platform. We are seeking someone that has experience with E-Commerce such as ebay, amazon, mercari, Whatnot, ect... We are also looking for someone who has experience or general interest in collectibles (TCG, Sports Cards, Video Games, Comics, Coins, Original Art, ect...) The Role: We are seeking a highly meticulous and organized E-commerce Cataloging and Inventory Specialist to be the backbone of our online auction listings. This role is primarily focuses on the detailed preparation, photography, and accurate data entry of valuable collectibles before they go live on our auction platform. Key Responsibilities I. Core Function: Cataloging, Listing, and Data Entry Item Research and Data Entry: Conduct necessary research to accurately identify, describe, and value incoming collectibles. Listing Creation: Write accurate and detailed descriptions for auction listings, ensuring all item specifications and conditions are noted. Platform Management: Upload final listings and manage item data within our e-commerce and auction software. Inventory Control: Meticulously organize, log, and track all items within our inventory system to ensure real-time accuracy. II. Product Photography and Preparation High-Quality Photography: Capture clear, well-lit, and attractive product images of various collectibles using a designated setup, adhering to brand standards. Receiving and Sorting: Open incoming packages from consignors and carefully check, sort, and prepare items for the cataloging process. III. Shipping Fulfillment Final Stage Packaging: Occasionally assist with the precise and careful packaging of high-value or complex-to-ship auction winners. Label Generation: Generate shipping labels and documentation for a limited number of outbound packages. Qualifications and Skills Required: Exceptional Attention to Detail: Non-negotiable requirement for accurate data entry and handling of valuable items. Strong Written Communication: Ability to write clear, grammatically correct, and engaging product descriptions and for emailing. Computer Proficiency: Highly skilled in standard office software (e.g., Google Sheets/Excel, emailing) and comfortable quickly learning new e-commerce and inventory management software Basic Photography Skills: Experience taking professional-looking product photos (e-commerce or hobby photography). Ability to sit and focus on tasks for extended periods. Preferred (Bonus Skills): Familiarity with various collectible categories (e.g., coins, comics, cards, tcg, video games, sports memorabilia). Direct experience with auction software or e-commerce platforms (Shopify, eBay, etc.). Social Media experience (Tiktok, IG, FB, Youtube, ect...)
