• Collaborate with a mentor for guidance and learning on real business problems.
• Develop new product ideas, demos for executives, and potentially contribute to patent applications.
• Write Python code for microservice architectures and improve our AI platform for scalability and security.
• Participate in agile processes including sprint planning, huddles, pair programming, and retrospectives with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
• Currently enrolled in full-time education or recent/upcoming graduate within 12 months of placement end date.
• 2+ years in a Computer Science or Engineering program.
• Curious and passionate about applying Machine Learning to solve real problems.
• Always learning, experimenting with new ideas and technology.
• Enjoy working in a team to learn from and teach others.
• Like to develop new technology, business and people skills and welcome challenges.
• Some hands-on experience with ML through work terms, hackathons, or competitions.
• Experience with optimization (linear programming, mixed integer problems, solvers) is an asset.
• Experience in statistical inference and related concepts is an asset.
