From our CNC remanufacturing shop in Cincinnati, OH 45215, you’ll help create the conditions that let technicians restore equipment with speed and accuracy. If you enjoy fast‑paced, hands‑on work and want to grow your skill set, this role is for you. Imagine This You arrive, check the work queue, and stage tooling, hardware, and materials. You help position a CNC unit for inspection, assist with a preventive maintenance task, then pivot to disassembling a subassembly. Later, you shuttle components with a forklift, update inventory counts, and wrap up by resetting the area so the next project starts strong—all while keeping safety front and center. Your Impact Coordinate with technicians to rig, set, and break down CNC machines and support equipment. Maintain an orderly, clean, and safe shop environment. Contribute to scheduled service and corrective repairs on CNC machinery. Handle and store tools and materials properly; stage work for upcoming tasks. Perform entry‑level assembly/disassembly work as directed. Assist with inventory tracking, replenishment, and documentation. Model safe work practices and adhere to all safety procedures. Offer continuous‑improvement ideas to boost workflow and efficiency. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Any exposure to manufacturing or CNC shop environments is advantageous. Detail‑minded, instruction‑focused approach. Foundational mechanical aptitude and a growth mindset. Capable of lifting and performing physically demanding tasks. Clear communication and strong teamwork ethic. Understanding of general shop safety. Valid driver’s license. Technical and Practical Proficiencies Equipment troubleshooting; mechanical troubleshooting. Ability to interpret electrical schematics; work on electrical/electronic systems. Soldering and pulling conduit. Pneumatics experience, including diagnostics. Knowledge of single/three‑phase power; familiarity with 120/208/240/480V and high‑voltage systems. Motor service, repair, and replacement. Conveyor chain replacement; general maintenance and repair. Pipefitting and hands‑on mechanical assembly. Equipment installs, wiring, repair, and maintenance. Blueprint reading; tape‑measure accuracy. Excellent communication; High School/GED. The Tools, Vehicles, and Systems You’ll Touch Warehouse management software; labeling technologies. HVAC systems; heat gun; Fluke multimeter. Safety glass (eye protection). Material movement: Hyster sit‑down forklifts and pallet jacks; crane; overhead crane. Transport: box trucks; cargo vans. Fabrication and finishing: Skil circular saw, band saw, belt sander, manual grinder, Miller manual plasma cutter, paint sprayer. Power tools by DeWalt, Makita, Milwaukee, Bosch, Ryobi, and Hilti.
