Responsibilities Operate CNC machining equipment, ensuring precise fabrication of parts according to blueprints and technical specifications. Set up, calibrate, and troubleshoot CNC machinery such as controls, programmable logic controllers , and other industrial automation systems to optimize production flow. Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and production documents to accurately produce components with tight tolerances. Use precision measurement instruments like micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, standards to verify dimensional accuracy. Manage warehouse operations by safely handling materials using forklifts (certified), organizing inventory, and preparing finished products for shipment or storage. Operate shop tools such as press brake machines, stamping presses, and fabrication equipment to assist in assembly or finishing processes. Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot industrial equipment issues to minimize downtime while adhering to safety standards in production environments. Requirements Proven experience operating CNC machines and CAM programming software; familiarity with controls is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, technical drawing interpretation, and mechanical blueprint comprehension. Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges for quality control purposes. Valid forklift certification with experience handling materials safely within a manufacturing or warehouse setting. Familiarity with industrial equipment troubleshooting and factory safety standards; ability to follow safety protocols diligently. Basic shop math skills for measurements, calculations, and interpreting production data accurately. Experience working in manufacturing facilities and warehouse Proficiency in CAD software like SolidWorks is a plus for understanding design specifications.
