CNC Lathe Operator

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints. The CNC Lathe Operator will work closely with other team members to ensure high-quality production standards are met. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines according to specifications and blueprints. Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and quality of output. Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance. Utilize precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers and calipers, to verify dimensions of finished products. Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD files for accurate machining processes. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot any issues that arise during production. Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety standards. Package finished products for shipment or storage as required. Skills Proficiency in CAD software for design interpretation and modification. Strong basic math skills for calculations related to measurements and tolerances. Experience with precision measuring instruments, including micrometers and calipers. Familiarity with logic controllers used in CNC machinery. Ability to read blueprints effectively to guide machining processes. Knowledge of warehouse operations related to inventory management and product handling. Experience in welding is a plus but not mandatory. Forklift operation experience is beneficial for moving materials within the facility.
