ConfidentialCNA / Transportation Driver Brookshire Nursing and Rehabilitation – Brookshire, TX Brookshire Nursing and Rehabilitation is hiring a CNA / Transportation Driver to get our residents safely to their medical appointments, outings and activities. You'll use your CNA skills every day, get more one-on-one time with residents, and be the friendly face they see on the way to and from their appointments. What You'll Do Drive residents to medical appointments and to individual and group activities, safely and on time Secure wheelchairs in the van and help residents get in and out of the vehicle Supervise residents during every trip and treat each one with dignity and respect Watch for resident medical concerns and report them to nursing right away Run the daily transportation schedule and tell nursing and unit managers about any conflicts Keep the van clean and ready, and report any maintenance or repair needs Follow all federal, state and local transportation requirements Help with other CNA and facility duties as needed Why Work Here Variety. What You'll Need Active Texas CNA certification Valid Texas driver's license and proof of auto insurance Safe, clean driving record High school diploma or GED Able to push and pull residents in wheelchairs (100–300 lbs) and help residents in and out of the vehicle Haven't driven a facility van before?
