Closing Key Holder Team Member

Job Overview We are seeking a responsible and proactive Closing Key Holder to join our retail team. This leadership role is essential for ensuring smooth store operations during closing hours, maintaining excellent customer service, and supporting team management. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, leadership qualities, and experience in retail management to effectively oversee daily activities and uphold store standards. Ideal candidates will foster a positive and collaborative work environment, maintaining professionalism at all times and upholding professional boundaries. Duties Lead the store team through closing procedures, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately Manage cash handling, POS transactions, and reconcile cash registers at shift end Oversee inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maintain optimal store presentation Supervise staff, assign tasks, and support employee training and development Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and loss prevention protocols Assist customers with inquiries, exchanges, and deliver exceptional customer service Conduct opening or closing audits to ensure store security and operational readiness Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing and onboarding new team members when necessary Engage with customers to provide outstanding service and resolve any issues or concerns. Maintain an effective running shift and accomplishing tasks. Merchandizing areas affectively with organizational skills. Learn and work in production and all aspects of the store production. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. A proactive attitude towards helping others and contributing to team success. Experience Proven management or supervisory experience within retail or a similar customer-focused environment Strong knowledge of retail operations including inventory management, POS systems, merchandising, and cash handling Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a team effectively and handle customer interactions professionally Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer bases Demonstrated organizational skills with experience in employee orientation, training & development, and shift management Familiarity with retail math. Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and organizational standards This position offers an opportunity for growth within a dynamic retail environment.
