Job Description Bunkhouse living quarters are available for candidates living outside Lafourche Parish. Provisions is seeking an experienced and dependable Class D Delivery Driver to join our team servicing Energy & Marine assets across the Gulf of America region. This position primarily operates out of our Port Fourchon facility, with most deliveries occurring within a 100-mile radius. Drivers will transport food and supply products to marine and offshore support operations, including supply vessels, lift boats, and drill ships. Most unloading is handled by forklift operators at seaports, though occasional hand-stacking of products into Connex boxes for offshore delivery may be required. Responsibilities Safely operate company delivery trucks across designated routes. Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment, ensuring secure handling of goods. Drive company delivery vehicles to transport food, grocery, and supply products. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety. Maintain accurate delivery records, mileage, and freight delivery details. Route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules while optimizing fuel consumption and reducing delays. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery statuses, or any issues encountered during trips. Assist with hand-stacking products into Connex boxes when necessary. Provide professional and courteous customer service to customers and offshore personnel. Qualifications Valid Class D Driver's License with a clean driving record. Previous delivery driver experience preferred. Experience handling food, grocery, or supply deliveries is a plus. Ability to load and unload freight and operate equipment such as pallet jacks when necessary. Knowledge of safe driving practices and applicable transportation regulations. Strong physical stamina to handle products and perform vehicle inspections regularly. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with dispatch and customers. Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious. Must pass applicable DOT physical and drug screening requirements.
