Class C Delivery Driver – Bobtail & Forklift Experience

Job Summary Superior Duct Fabrication is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Class C Delivery Driver to support our Las Vegas operations. The ideal candidate must have at least two years of experience transporting materials, operating a bobtail or straight box truck, and handling a forklift. This position is responsible for delivering HVAC ductwork, materials, and related products safely and efficiently while supporting warehouse operations as needed. The successful candidate must demonstrate safe driving practices, proper material handling, and a commitment to timely deliveries and excellent customer service Key Responsibilities Safely operate a Class C delivery vehicle, including a bobtail or straight box truck, to transport materials to designated customer locations. Load, unload, and secure materials to prevent damage during transportation. Operate a forklift safely to load, unload, and move materials as needed. Verify delivery orders, shipping documents, quantities, and product information before dispatch. Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries. Inspect the vehicle before and after trips and promptly report maintenance issues or safety concerns. Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain required customer signatures or proof of delivery. Assist with warehouse duties, including receiving, staging, organizing, and preparing materials for shipment. Follow company safety procedures, traffic regulations, and material-handling guidelines. Maintain professional communication with customers, dispatch, warehouse personnel, and management. Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications and Requirements Valid Class C driver's license and a clean driving record. At least 2 years of experience transporting materials . At least 2 years of experience operating or handling bobtail trucks and forklifts . Must provide a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) from the DMV with their resume as part of the pre-employment process. Previous warehouse and material-handling experience. Ability to safely load, unload, and move materials as required. Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and basic physical examination. Must be eligible and willing to maintain mandatory union membership with Local 359 SMART . Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills. Reliable attendance and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to safe driving practices and compliance with company policies. Work Schedule Monday through Friday. Start time varies between 4:00 AM and 7:00 AM . No overnight routes or overnight shifts. Preferred Qualifications Experience delivering HVAC ductwork, sheet metal products, construction materials, or similar industrial products. Forklift certification or documented training, as applicable. Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or construction-related environments. Work Environment and Physical Requirements Combination of driving, warehouse, and material-handling duties. Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and handling materials. Ability to lift and move materials within the physical requirements of the position. Work may involve warehouse equipment, loading areas, and varying weather conditions during deliveries.
