Class C Box Truck Driver

Position Summary Nisbet Brower is looking for a dependable, safety-focused Class C Box Truck Driver to join our Warehouse & Logistics team. This position is responsible for safely operating a box truck to deliver building materials to customer locations throughout the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area. The driver will help load and unload materials, ensure deliveries are accurate and on time, and provide professional service to our customers. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced building materials environment. Key Responsibilities Safely operate a Class C box truck along assigned delivery routes. Deliver building materials to customer locations, jobsites, and other company facilities. Load and unload materials while ensuring products are properly handled, secured, and protected. Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Verify delivery orders and maintain accurate delivery documentation. Communicate with dispatch, warehouse personnel, and customers regarding deliveries, schedules, and jobsite conditions. Follow all applicable traffic laws, safety requirements, and company policies. Provide professional and courteous customer service at each delivery location. Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of the assigned vehicle. Safely operate pallet jacks, lift gates, and other material-handling equipment as needed. Assist with warehouse or material-handling duties when required. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required. Class C driving experience preferred. Minimum of 2 years of professional driving or delivery experience preferred. Experience in building materials, construction supply, lumber, or a related industry is a plus. Knowledge of safe driving practices and proper load securement. Experience using pallet jacks, lift gates, or similar material-handling equipment preferred. Strong time-management and organizational skills. Ability to follow delivery schedules and directions accurately. Good communication and customer-service skills. Dependable attendance and a strong commitment to workplace safety. Physical Requirements This position requires regular driving as well as hands-on loading and unloading of building materials. Candidates must be able to: Sit for extended periods while operating a vehicle. Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Handle heavier materials with assistance or appropriate equipment. Frequently climb in and out of the truck throughout the workday. Bend, reach, stoop, and move materials during loading and unloading. Safely operate manual and powered material-handling equipment. Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and wind. Maintain the visual and auditory awareness necessary to safely operate a commercial vehicle. Work Environment This position primarily involves local driving and deliveries with regular interaction at warehouses, customer locations, and active construction jobsites.
