eking an experienced Class B CDL Driver for a local storage container delivery position in East Syracuse, NY. The driver will report to the designated location, pick up portable storage containers, and safely transport and deliver them to residential homes and commercial businesses.
This is a hands-on local delivery position involving the operation of a hydraulic lift system to load and unload storage containers. Drivers will operate a Class B day cab with an automatic transmission and container trailer/equipment.
DRIVER RESPONSIBILITIES
• Operate a Class B CDL vehicle for local POD and storage container deliveries
• Pick up storage containers from the designated facility
• Deliver portable storage units to residential homes and commercial businesses
• Load and unload containers using a hydraulic lift
• Safely position and place storage containers at customer locations
• Complete approximately 2–10 stops per route
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation
• Provide professional customer service at residential and commercial locations
• Safely navigate routes ranging from approximately 5–250 miles
SCHEDULE & ROUTE INFORMATION
• Monday through Saturday availability
• 7:30 AM dispatch
• Most shifts are approximately 8–10 hours
• No fixed end time; drivers finish when their assigned routes are completed
• Saturdays may be required based on business volume and staffing
• Drivers typically receive approximately 3 Saturdays off per month
• Local delivery routes with approximately 2–10 stops per day

QUALIFICATIONS
• Valid Class B CDL
• Safe driving record
• Ability to operate a day cab and container delivery equipment
• Ability to safely operate hydraulic lift equipment
• Ability to perform physical delivery duties
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and complete assigned routes
• Must be available for the required Monday–Saturday schedule
• Must be willing to work variable route completion times
• Must successfully complete the required interview and onboarding process
