This role directs transportation staff, develops operational policies and procedures, supports safety and efficiency initiatives, and ensures reliable service across the transportation network. Pay & Schedule Details Pay: $75,000–$80,000 per year, depending on experience Schedule: Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday on-call responsibilities Split shift: 6:00 a.m.–10:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.–5:30 p.m. Central Time Key Responsibilities Direct the hiring, assignment, training, and performance management of transportation staff. Provide ongoing direction, support, and professional development to team members. Serve as a primary point of contact for transportation-related calls and concerns. Investigate incidents and complaints and work toward appropriate resolutions. Communicate with drivers, staff, and other stakeholders to address transportation issues and maintain effective daily operations. Prioritize routes and deadlines while supporting reliable transportation coverage. Evaluate, establish, and balance assigned routes to promote efficient staffing and service. Develop, implement, and maintain transportation policies and procedures focused on safety, efficiency, and reliability. Manage multiple priorities and support operational demands through critical thinking and innovative problem-solving. Perform other related transportation management responsibilities as needed. Minimum Requirements 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable logistics experience. 4+ years of managerial experience is preferred. Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred. Preferred: Class B CDL with P and S endorsements. Strong organizational, planning, implementation, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and frequent interruptions. Detail-oriented, results-focused approach with strong customer service skills. Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, or equivalent software.
