NOTE ABOUT SIGN ON BONUSES: We have a good team of long time drivers. We do not want people who aren't happy at ninety or six months staying if they aren't happy. We would rather help people find the job they want (hopefully with us) than lock them into a contract. Sign on bonuses are designed to lock people in for a year. We work with drivers to get them Hazmat and capable of training up to Class A if they have a good safety record. That is worth far more than $5000. Fleet Fueling is steady and predictable work. We have work for drivers wanting legal hours, but not extreme hours and days. Openings are for a swing shift position. Four days on, three days off schedule is available with this shift after onboard training. This job is to provide mobile on-site fueling of vehicles and is extremely predictable in schedule. Positions are being added due to growth. If you want hours as well as consistent days off, we have hours with a consistent schedule. We are training up a driver to another shift and are hiring to replace that position. The nature of the work is we fuel other fleets after hours in the Portland area. Quiet and predictable work that is out of traffic for most of the shift. Very predictable routes with work needing to be done. Pay is $27 an hour wage with Safety Bonus. Both hourly wage and safety bonus receive overtime pay. Overtime pay happens after 9 hours and all work after 40 hours in a week. Drivers with significant experience or a Class A CDL will start at a higher pay due to compensate for that driving experience. Both hourly and Safety Bonus earn time and a half after 9 hours of a single day worked and all hours after 40 hours worked in a week. Our goal is to ensure pay is easy to calculate. Shift starts at between 2pm and 4pm and goes till Midnight to 3am dependent on work load. Pay shown is for candidates with over 3 years experience and Hazmat. We will train entry level CDL for the right candidate if you have over 3 years of previous non-CDL driving experience or are a Veteran with an Honorable Discharge and over 3 years service. Training schedule varies as you get trained but we can lock in an extremely predictable schedule after training is complete (two weeks to a month of training depending on the candidate). We will start at a higher wage for drivers with proven experience. 40 Hours a week guarantee. Jobsite and Mobile Onsite Refueling with Portland's Star Oilco. A great job with consistent hours and schedule. This is a swing shift position. All stops within 75 miles of Portland serving local customers with a steady schedule. Washington route so you can avoid Oregon payroll taxes. You will be able to plan weekends (consistent weekend shifts shared enabling the ability to guarantee scheduled days off). Primary role will be onsite commercial fueling which requires the ability to work evenings. Hours vary but schedule does not. Opportunity to train into truck and trailer fuel deliveries a higher paying position. We guarantee 40 hours a week and often have overtime in a week. We pay overtime of time and a half (no wage rate games dependent on where and what you are working at).
