Class B CDL Fuel Delivery Driver – Hazmat & Tanker | $35/hr

OilWorks LLC | Columbus, OH $35 per hour | Full-Time | Friday–Monday | 7:00 AM Start OilWorks LLC is a family-owned bulk fuel and oil delivery company serving Columbus and Central Ohio. We're hiring an experienced, safety-focused Class B CDL Fuel Delivery Driver with Hazmat (H) and Tanker (N) endorsements, or a combination X endorsement , to join our local delivery team. This is a full-time, four-day workweek position with local routes and home-daily opportunities . We're looking for a dependable driver who takes pride in their equipment, follows safety procedures, and is comfortable with hands-on fuel delivery work. Schedule & Hours Friday through Monday (4-day workweek) Start time: 7:00 AM Typical end time: approximately 5:00 PM Full-time, minimum 40 hours per week Routes are scheduled by dispatch to accommodate the four-day workweek Daily end times may vary based on delivery volume, route assignments, and operational needs Local deliveries throughout Columbus and Central Ohio Job Responsibilities Safely operate a Class B commercial fuel delivery truck Deliver gasoline and diesel fuel to customer bulk storage tanks, generators, construction equipment, and other on-site equipment Load petroleum products at fuel terminals and reload at the warehouse as needed Follow proper fuel loading, unloading, and hazardous materials handling procedures Conduct required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Review delivery tickets, route assignments, and dispatch instructions Safely maneuver commercial vehicles at customer locations and fueling sites Maintain accurate delivery records, fuel quantities, and daily paperwork Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations personnel Promptly report equipment concerns, safety issues, accidents, or violations Follow all applicable DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations Required Qualifications Valid Class B CDL Current Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (H/N or X) – Required Acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR) and driving history Knowledge of DOT regulations and commercial vehicle safety requirements Ability to safely operate commercial trucks in varying road and weather conditions Ability to work independently, follow delivery instructions, and manage assigned routes Dependable attendance, punctuality, and attention to detail Ability to perform the physical requirements of fuel delivery Preferred Experience: Previous fuel delivery, petroleum transportation, or bulk liquid hauling experience Experience operating tanker trucks or other liquid bulk delivery vehicles Familiarity with fuel terminals, construction sites, and commercial fueling operations Physical Requirements This is an active, hands-on delivery position, not strictly a driving role. Work outdoors in varying weather conditions Frequently enter and exit commercial vehicles Walk, bend, climb, reach, and handle fueling equipment Lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs Safely handle fuel hoses, nozzles, and related delivery equipment Compensation & Benefits $35.00 per hour Overtime paid at 1.5 times the regular hourly rate for hours worked over 40 per workweek Four-day workweek with a consistent Friday–Monday schedule Local routes – home daily Company-provided delivery truck and equipment Paid training Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off (PTO) Company-provided uniforms Why Work at OilWorks?
