Class A Truck Driver (Flatbed trailer) Local

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and dump trucks. This role involves transporting freight efficiently and safely while adhering to all regulations and company policies. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the highest standards of safety on the road. Duties Operate automatic semi-truck including 48'-53' foot flatbed, tractor-trailer. Transport freight to designated locations while following established routes. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and cargo delivered. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road. Be sure the materials or goods are in good condition before and after transport. Securing the load with straps or chains depending on the load requirements. Drive safely at all times. Safety transport goods or material safely to their destination Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving. Experience A valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) Class A is required. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for at least 2 years or more. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of route driving. Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols. Previous experience with flatbed . Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries. Valid medical card.
