Class-A Truck Driver

Overview Join our team as a Class-A Truck Driver and keep freight moving safely and reliably. You’ll operate commercial trucks on local and over-the-road (OTR) routes, using GPS navigation and sound judgment to complete deliveries and protect cargo. Work involves tractor-trailers, tankers, dropping and hooking trailers, depending on the assignment. Your impact: Safe, timely deliveries help customers receive the freight and materials they need while keeping roads safer for everyone. Duties Drive commercial vehicles, including manual-transmission equipment, on assigned delivery and route-driving schedules. Inspect vehicles and secure freight; load and unload cargo using safe manual-handling practices and a forklift when qualified. Transports animal feed via bulk trailers and van trailers. Opportunity to haul ingredients if tanker endorsed. Use GPS navigation, follow dispatch instructions, and communicate route or delivery issues promptly. Follow Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations, including applicable hazardous-materials requirements. Requirements Valid Class A commercial driver’s license and safe commercial driving record; meet applicable DOT and FMCSA requirements. Demonstrated truck-driving, commercial-driving, or delivery-driver experience; familiarity with tractor-trailers and delivery driving is valued. Ability to handle freight and perform loading and unloading safely. Knowledge of logistics, freight procedures, manual transmission, GPS navigation, is an advantage. We are based out of Upper Sandusky, Ohio and exclusively pull for a local feed company; hauling and delivering bulk feed along with bagged feed. Home daily and OTR opportunities.
