Class A Truck Driver
Wilmington PrecastJob Overview Wilmington Precast is seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting freight safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. A strong commitment to safety and customer service is essential. Responsibilities Operate and drive different types of trucks. Transport freight to designated locations in a timely manner. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and deliveries. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Load and unload freight using forklifts or other equipment as necessary. Follow all safety protocols while driving and handling cargo. Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required. Proven experience in truck driving, strapping down loads & flat bed trailers. Familiarity with route driving and freight handling procedures. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening as required by company policies. Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance is a plus.
