Seeking Class A Truck Driver with 2 years or more Class A Experience (SAP DRIVERS THAT HAVE ALREADY COMPLETED THEIR RETURN TO DUTY TEST) to haul dedicated local reefer freight to our customers. This is a touch freight position using an electric pallet jack. Day and Night opening but must be open to both. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmission across over-the-road (OTR) routes, ensuring compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Load, secure, transport, and unload freight including hazardous materials, dangerous goods, refrigerated cargo, and other specialized freight using appropriate manual handling techniques. Use GPS navigation systems to plan optimal routes, monitor traffic conditions, and ensure timely deliveries while adhering to route schedules. Transport automobiles securely using specialized equipment when required, ensuring vehicle safety during transit. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking for hazardous materials regulations compliance and truck loading/unloading procedures. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo documentation, delivery records, and incident reports in accordance with FMCSA regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or potential delays. Qualifications 2 years Verifiable tractor trailer experience in last 5 years. must be 21 years of age No more than 1 moving violation i the past year and no more than 2 in the past 3 years. License suspension will be reviewed No more than 1 preventable accident in the past year No more than 2 preventable accidents in the past 3 years Criminal History No open or pend cases, currently on probation, no drug charges last 5 years. Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with clean driving record. Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on freight delivery; prior experience with refrigerated trailers or tanker trucks is a plus. Knowledge of hazardous materials regulations (Hazmat) certification preferred but not required; willingness to obtain if necessary. Skilled in truck loading and unloading techniques for various cargo types including freight, hazardous goods, flatbed loads, or tanker shipments. Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning for efficient logistics cargo handling. Ability to operate manual transmission trucks safely and confidently over long distances on OTR routes. Understanding of FMCSA regulations related to hours of service (HOS), safety protocols, and vehicle maintenance standards.
