Class A semi truck OTR driver

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and tankers. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently across designated routes while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. A strong focus on customer service and timely delivery is essential. Responsibilities Operate and drive a variety of trucks, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks. Load and unload freight using forklifts or other equipment as necessary. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Plan routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries while minimizing fuel consumption. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked and mileage driven. Communicate with dispatch regarding any issues or delays encountered on the road. Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving. Assist in training new drivers as needed. Experience Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbed trucks, tankers, and other specialized vehicles is a plus. Previous delivery driver experience is highly desirable. Knowledge of freight handling procedures and route driving best practices. Ability to operate forklifts and other loading equipment safely.
