Class A Regional Driver- MIN. 2 YEARS EXP REQUIRED

2 years experience is required for this position. About us Family Owned trucking company is looking for an EXPERIENCED Class A Commercial Driver to haul dry vans/flatbeds in the Western US Region. Regional drivers are home a couple times throughout the week and 90% of weekends. Loads are mostly going to NV, CA, AZ, UT, ID. Drivers with dedicated runs will be home daily. Responsibilities Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions Collect and verify delivery instructions Report defects, accidents or violations Skills Proven work experience as a truck driver Must be able to lift 50lbs Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly Ability to climb in and out of truck/trailer Ability to strap/tarp loads Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc) Valid class A driving license Job Type: Full-time Pay: $1,400.00 - $1,800.00 per week Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Experience: CLASS A: 2 years (Required) 53FT DRY VAN : 2 years (Required) Manual transmission: 2 years (Required) ELD : 2 years (Required) License/Certification: CDL A (Required) Ability to Commute: Sparks, NV 89431 (Required) Work Location: In person
