Class A Port Driver

Job Summary Join our dynamic logistics team as a Port Driver, where you will play a vital role in transporting freight efficiently and safely within port facilities and across various routes. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, adherence to safety regulations, and ability to handle diverse cargo will ensure timely deliveries and excellent service. Duties Safely operate tractor trailer following all DOT (Department of Transportation) and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations Navigate using GPS systems to ensure accurate route driving and timely deliveries across all routes Drop and pick no unloading Drive delivery routes efficiently, managing route driving schedules to meet delivery deadlines while maintaining safety standards Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery documentation in compliance with DOT regulations Requirements Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with TWIC card Proven experience in delivery driving Familiarity with Long beach and LA piers Ability to handle manual transmission trucks and perform manual handling tasks safely Understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, , and safety standards for commercial truck drivers Strong driving skills with a clean driving record and 2 years experience Embark on a rewarding career where your driving expertise keeps goods moving smoothly!
