CLASS A OVERNIGHT LINEHAUL DRIVER

Overview Join our dynamic family owned and operated team as a Class A Overnight Linehaul Driver and take charge of moving freight efficiently and safely from St. Charles, Mo. to Peru IL. and back. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate heavy-duty tractor-trailers, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailer with auto transmissions across dedicated overnight route. Route time will be 6:00PM - to - 4:00AM(est.) No touch, drop and hook. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Must hold Class A w/ Haz Mat endorsement. Handle logistics cargo with care, including hazardous materials regulations for dangerous goods and other specialized freight types. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery documentation, and inspection reports as required by FMCSA regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, delays, or issues encountered during overnight routes. Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving, especially with tractor-trailers involving manual transmission and manual handling skills. Knowledge of hazardous materials regulations (Hazmat), and dangerous goods transportation. Skilled in GPS navigation systems Strong understanding of DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and FMCSA safety standards for commercial driving. Excellent driving skills with a clean record in truck driving, delivery driving experience preferred.
