Class A OTR driver
ConfidentialOverview Join our team as a Class A over-the-road (OTR) driver and keep freight moving safely and reliably across long-distance routes. You’ll operate a tractor-trailer, follow assigned routes using GPS navigation, and handle cargo with care. Your impact: Safe, timely deliveries help customers receive the goods they need and keep supply chains moving. Duties Drive commercial trucks on OTR and regional routes, including delivery driving and route driving. Transport freight using refrigerated trailers; assignments may also involve flatbed, tanker, or automobile transportation equipment. Load and unload cargo, secure freight, and perform manual handling as needed. Use GPS navigation and follow dispatch instructions, delivery schedules, and designated routes. Inspect and maintain awareness of vehicle and cargo condition; follow Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations, including hazardous materials and dangerous goods requirements when applicable. Experience Class A commercial driving and tractor-trailer experience; delivery driver experience is valuable. Ability to drive a manual transmission and safely perform truck loading and unloading. Familiarity with logistics cargo handling, freight documentation, and commercial truck driving practices. Hazmat experience or qualifications are preferred for applicable assignments; knowledge of hazardous materials regulations is an asset. Experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbed, tanker, or automobile transportation is helpful. Pay: $1,500.00 - $1,800.00 per week Work Location: On the road
