Full Circle BiofuelsJob Description: Golden K Recycling is growing! We are hiring a Route Driver to be based out of the Pocatello area. Start date is flexible but available immediately. Golden K Recycling provides used cooking oil recycling & grease trap pumping services for hundreds of restaurants across Eastern Idaho. Job Responsibilities: Grease Trap Pumping & Used Cooking Oil Recycling Drive service routes throughout eastern Idaho, home nightly 99% of the time Operate Class B commercial vacuum trucks to service indoor and outdoor grease traps Operate Class B commercial vacuum trucks to pump used cooking oil tanks & bins Delivery of oil containers to new customers Light maintenance and repair of customer equipment Paid, on-the-job training provided Facility Operations While Route Driving is the primary aspect of this position, you will have opportunities to gain experience in our other departments: Help with plant operations to process both cooking oil & grease trap waste Loading finished product onto trucks and railcars General facility maintenance and upkeep Optional (but desired) Class A tractor trailer driving to include: Hauling of finished product to railcars and customers Hauling of waste product to our other facilities in Idaho Required Qualifications: Class B CDL with tanker endorsement and clean driving record (minimum) Class A CDL with tanker endorsement and clean driving record (preferred) Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to work and solve problems independently, manage priorities, and make decisions with sound judgment Ability to perform physical work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, safely and responsibly operate mechanical equipment, and understand and observe safety procedures Ability to use tablet-based software for route navigation and data entry Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen Familiarity with vehicle and mechanical systems and/or fabrication skills are a plus Familiarity with the food or restaurant industry is a plus Compensation and Benefits Wages are DOE and range from $28/hr - $33/hr $1000 signing bonus!
