This is a consistent Saturday and Sunday day-shift position supporting time-sensitive freight pickups and deliveries throughout the greater Bay Area. It may be a good fit for an experienced Class A driver looking for regular weekend work without committing to a full-time schedule. What We Offer $30.00 - $33.50/hour, DOE Consistent Saturday and Sunday schedule Local Bay Area routes Paid training Company-leased equipment Established company with more than 35 years in airfreight transportation What You’ll Do Safely operate Class A tractor-trailer equipment on assigned weekend routes Complete time-sensitive pickups and deliveries Load, unload, and secure freight when required Verify and report freight dimensions and weights Complete vehicle inspections, manifests, and required documentation Provide professional service at customer and freight facilities Follow company safety policies and applicable DOT, FMCSA, TSA, and OSHA requirements Maintain dependable weekend attendance Qualifications Valid Class A CDL Commercial Class A tractor-trailer driving experience Experience operating 53' tractor-trailers Safe driving record Dependable Saturday and Sunday availability Ability to safely handle freight when required Hazmat endorsement preferred Ability to meet DOT, FMCSA, TSA, company, insurance, background-screening, and drug-testing requirements About California Sierra Express California Sierra Express has served the airfreight logistics industry for more than 35 years.
