Orgill, Inc.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Start time: 4:00 AM. Transport trailers, full or empty, to or from receiving or shipping, as directed by the supervisor. Complete trailer movement logs to submit to supervisors. Complete daily yard reports and inventory on a tablet. Complete pre-trip inspections on all trailers used on the shipping dock. Meets and maintains safety standards. Make occasional local deliveries as needed. Maintain proper housekeeping standards in the work area. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Basic math and reading skills. Good communication skills. Basic organizational skills. EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: Valid state Commercial Driver's License (Class A CDL) required. Preferably a minimum of one year of verified experience operating a tractor-trailer. Must be at least 21 years of age. WORKING CONDITIONS: Lifting of up to 75 pounds. Continuous walking, standing, and sitting; walking long distances. Exposure to hot and cold conditions. Exposure to dust and noise. Bending, stooping, squatting, and kneeling on a repetitious basis.
