Class A CDL Truck Driver - Local/Port Container Work
CPS LogisticsLocal company is seeking an experienced dependable Class A CDL Truck Driver for part-time local port/container work in South Jersey. This is a home-daily position with no OTR or overnight driving. The primary responsibility will be transporting 20-foot shipping containers on a local route of approximately 24 miles round trip between our facility and Port of Salem NJ. This includes drop-and -hooks. The ideal candidate will have a valid Class A CDL, a clean driving record, with 3 years commercial driving experience and a dependable work history. Container and port experience is preferred but not required. The driver must be able to perform required vehicle inspections, complete basic paperwork and follow all DOT, company and port safety requirements. The schedule is flexible and will be base on the company's transportation needs and driver's availability. Work is expected to be approximately five round trips per week and will remain under 40 hours per week. Compensation is $100 per completed trip.
