Class A CDL Truck Driver/ Heavy Machinery Operator

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class A CDL Truck Driver/Heavy Machinery Operator to join our team. This role involves operating heavy machinery, specifically a Wheel Loader, and driving commercial trucks to transport materials between offsite locations and our storage yard. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely loading, transporting, unloading, and stacking cargo with precision, ensuring efficient operations across our site. Duties Operate a Class A CDL truck to travel to various offsite locations for material pickup and delivery. Load cargo onto the truck using a Wheel Loader, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols. Transport materials to the designated storage yard efficiently and safely. Unload cargo at the storage yard, stacking materials accurately according to company standards. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and heavy machinery to maintain safety and compliance. Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation and machinery operation. Maintain cleanliness and routine maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to coordinate loading/unloading schedules and ensure timely deliveries. Experience Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience operating heavy machinery such as Wheel Loaders or similar equipment. Prior experience in trucking or material transportation preferred. Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy machinery operation and commercial driving. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift heavy loads as needed.
