Class A CDL Truck Driver

Class A CDL regional vehicle hauler for family owned auto auction. Duties and Responsibilities: Regional driving, approximately 550 mile routes from the home base in Billings, MT Communicating and coordinating with dispatcher Obeying and following applicable traffic laws Securing cargo and properly arranging and balancing it Maintaining a detailed log of working hours in compliance with state and federal regulations Ensuring any mechanical issues with the vehicle are corrected before driving Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules Complying with truck driving rules and regulations Reporting defects, accidents and violations Performing daily maintenance of truck (refueling, cleaning, etc.) Loading and unloading cargo. Vehicles are delivered to and picked up from customers to and from the home base in Billings, MT. Interacting with customers in a professional manner Performing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspection reports Performing cargo inspections and recording delivery details Verifying loads for accuracy Skills and Qualifications: Class A CDL required A clean driving record Medical Examiner's Certificate Salary and Benefits: Salary: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year 401(k) with Matching Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid vacation and holidays Job Type: Full-time Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: On the road
