Class A CDL Truck Driver

Job Overview As a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Truck Driver, you’ll move freight safely and reliably on over-the-road (OTR) routes and local deliveries. You’ll operate a tractor-trailer, plan routes with GPS navigation, and handle cargo according to its type and applicable safety requirements. Work will involve containers, dry-van, depending on the assignment. Although Four-U-Transportation does not currently offer insurance, this job is local work which entails being home every evening Monday-Friday off on the weekends. Duties Drive commercial trucks on assigned route-driving and delivery-driving schedules; inspect equipment and report issues before, during, and after all trips. Use GPS navigation to follow routes, manage trip progress, and communicate delivery updates. Transport general freight. Manage Electronic Logging Device (ELD) Your impact: Careful driving and cargo handling help customers receive freight safely and on schedule. Experience Required: Valid Class A CDL and experience in commercial truck driving. Required: Knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Preferred: Experience with OTR routes, container transportation, logistics cargo handling, and freight delivery.
