Class A CDL Truck Driver

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting trailers inside a chemical facility from dock to dock safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety standards, traffic controls and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and excellent driving skills. Responsibilities Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate logs of trailer moves, hours, and any incidents or delays encountered. Adhere to all site transportation regulations and safety producers while on site. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Manage manual transmission vehicles with proficiency. Must be able to pass a background check and a drug and alcohol screening. Skills Proficiency in trailer backing. Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL). Strong understanding of safety protocols. Ability to operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles effectively. Strong problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise during transport. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
