Class A CDL Truck Driver

We are seeking an experienced and reliable truck driver to join our team. You would be perfect for this role if you have experience operating various trucks, including dump trailers, log trailers, and lowboy trailers. This position requires strong time management and a commitment to road safety while delivery materials to designated locations. As our Truck Driver you will be a vital part of our team in ensuring our projects are completed in a timely manner. M-F work days and hours would range from 7:00AM-6:00PM. This position qualifies for overtime hours and pay. Responsibilities: Operate and drive road tractor and pull log trailer, dump trailer and lowboy Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and comply with all DOT regulations Maintain accurate records of deliveries and communicate efficiently with dispatch for each delivery Maintain records of vehicle maintenance Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving Ability to self-load is a plus Adhere to log deck and loading safety measures while loading/unloading in and around project entrance Ensure timely delivery of materials to their destinations while showing good customer service to each site vendor Requirements: Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being operated (Manual) Proven experience in truck driving, especially with manual transmission vehicles Strong understanding and capability to perform under safety protocols related to commercial driving Ability to manage time efficiently and work independently Must possess a clean driving record and pass drug screening as part of the hiring process Pay: $21.00 - $29.00 per hour License/Certification: CDL A (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Sims, NC 27880 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Sims, NC 27880: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
