Cleaning and clear drive History 2 years driving experience Job Responsibilities Pick up and deliver import/export containers from the Port of Houston and surrounding rail yards. Operate safely and professionally while transporting containers. Complete port, terminal, warehouse, and customer deliveries and returns. Inspect truck, chassis, and container before and after each trip. Communicate with dispatch regarding container availability, appointments, and delivery status. Maintain accurate paperwork and follow all port and company procedures. Keep the truck and equipment clean and in good working condition. Requirements Valid Class A CDL. Clean and safe driving record. Previous port drayage / container trucking experience preferred. TWIC card preferred/required for port access. Must be dependable, responsible, and able to communicate with dispatch. Must follow all DOT, FMCSA, port, and company safety requirements.
