Duties Safely operate tractor- ensuring timely delivery of freight across various regions Handle a diverse range of cargo including refrigerated goods, hazardous materials (Hazmat), and other logistics cargo handling requirements Load and unload freight (No Touch Freight) Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems to optimize delivery times and fuel consumption Comply with all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), and hazardous materials regulations during operations Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and inspection reports in accordance with regulatory standards Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with safety standards Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including tractor-trailer operation with manual transmission preferred Strong knowledge of logistics cargo handling, route driving, and freight delivery procedures Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dangerous goods transportation Ability to operate GPS navigation systems confidently for efficient route planning Understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, hazardous materials regulations, and safety protocols for commercial driving Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, manual handling expertise, and load & unload procedures Experience in automobile transportation or delivery driving is a plus but not required; a strong commitment to safe driving practices is essential Embark on a rewarding career that combines independence with professional growth.
