Class A CDL OTR Truck Driver (Flatbed)

Job Overview We are lookingfor a couple of flatbed drivers and also drivers who run flatbed that may be interested in training to do oversized/overweight loads. 3 weeks out a week at home. If you live in or close to the Rutledge area you could get through the house probably every weekend. Responsibilities Operate a commercial truck with a flatbed trailer on OTR and route-driving assignments; complete delivery driving safely and on schedule. secure freight, including manual handling when required; inspect cargo and equipment before, during, and after trips. Use GPS navigation to follow routes and communicate delivery or road issues through established procedures. Follow Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, including applicable hazardous materials and dangerous goods requirements. Your impact: Safe cargo handling and compliant driving help customers receive freight reliably while protecting other road users. Qualifications Required: Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), commercial truck-driving and tractor-trailer experience, and ability to operate a manual transmission. Required: A decent MVR (No Sap) Required: 1 year of flatbed experience Preferred: oversized/overweight experience. This is not a must but it is an opportunity if you have a year of flatbed experience and would like to train to do oversized/overweight loads. You don’t have to do oversized you can run regular flatbed if you want it’s just an opportunity if Interested You do not have to live in Rutledge, Ga for the job that’s just the particular area the freight will run out of.
