Load, unload, tarp, and secure freight, ensuring accurate and damage-free deliveries. Represent BMD in the field in a professional and courteous manner, provide an exceptional customer experience Complete required DOT paperwork (i.e. e-logs), perform vehicle inspections, complete delivery paperwork, and assist in the warehouse as needed. What You'll Need Valid Class A CDL and a safe driving record that meets Company and regulatory requirements At least 1 year of manual transmission commercial tractor/flatbed trailer experience Load-securement experience using straps and tarps (coils, lumber, pallets, oversized loads) Current DOT medical certification or ability to obtain one Ability to meet applicable DOT/FMCSA requirements to include completing a DOT pre-employment drug screen About Us For over 80 years, Building Material Distributors (BMD) has supplied lumber yards, dealers, home centers, and hardware stores with quality building products.
