HIRING TIMELINE: Immediate Job Qualifications: Valid and current CDL A with Hazmat At least 1 year experience (preferred) Ability to drive 10-speed manual transmission (REQUIRED) Ability and willingness to touch/move freight Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic CDL A Delivery Truck Driver specialized in Hazmat to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across multiple accounts, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. The primary account is delivering to the Virginia ABC Stores. The driver will flex between two other accounts as needed. The driver will be made aware of the schedule ahead of time. When those two accounts have a reduction in work (usually seasonally for a couple of months) the driver will be delivering to the Virginia ABC stores. Account #1 :_ ( VDC ) Deliver products to state buildings, DOC, jails, DMV, etc. Products range from dry goods and food to cleaning products to paper products. Located in Sandston, VA. Daily rate + stops + miles. ONLY VA. Layovers are possible periodically (typically on Tuesdays and Thursdays)._ Account #2 : (HUFF) Deliver to hospitals, restaurants, and office buildings. Products such as dry goods, cleaning products, and paper products. Inside deliveries. Pallet jack. Located in Sandston, VA. Daily rate + stops + miles. Layovers are possible periodically . TRI-STATE: MD, VA, AND NC. **Both VDC & Huff require Hazmat. Equipment will vary greatly; it could be anything ranging from, day cab, sleeper, and a 26’ box truck. Trailer lengths vary between 28, 48, and 53, with some lift gates and some reefers. Automatic and manual transmission. Hand cart, pallet jack, AND hand unload. Account #3 :_ ( VA ABC Stores_) This is the primary account during periods when there may be reduced routes. Deliveries to ALL Virginia ABC Stores. Start and stop in Mechanicsville, VA. Monday through Friday. Home daily. Average start time 2:00am-5:00am. Average 10 hour shifts. HAND UNLOAD ~1,400 cases to 3-5 stores per day with ride along helper. Day cab and 48ft trailer. Route based pay. Guaranteed daily minimum $225 after 60 days. Average weekly pay $1,300. ONLY VA. Utilize manual transmission skills for various truck types. Load and unload freight, adhering to safety regulations and company policies. Maintain accurate delivery logs and communicate with dispatch regarding route changes and delays. Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and maintain a valid Hazmat endorsement.
