Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the safety representative, ensuring adherence to safety policies and procedures for both our company and our clients, delivering hands-on expertise regarding operations and emergency response.
• Operate vacuum and hydroblasting equipment, along with specialized high-pressure pumps.
• Manage the operation of pumping and vacuum equipment during jobs, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintain driver logs, and follow DOT regulations.
• Load and unload equipment and materials, including hoses and vacuum trucks.
• Provide maintenance for equipment used in operations.
• Lead and supervise a team of vacuum technicians as required.
• Transport equipment and personnel to and from job sites.
• Perform additional duties as assigned in alignment with business needs.
Required Qualifications:
• Completion of vocational training, both classroom and hands-on, along with relevant experience.
• Proficiency in English for understanding safety training and responding to emergency instructions.
• A valid Class A CDL and adherence to company driving policies.
• Smartphone needed for electronic logging.
• Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) may be necessary.
• Knowledge of emergency equipment operations such as fire extinguishers.
• Experience operating vacuum trucks, with a solid understanding of wet and dry vacuum processes.
What It Takes to Work at HPC-Industrial:
• A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required.
• A Class A CDL license is mandatory.
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements are highly preferred.
