Job Summary We are seeking an experienced, safety-minded Class A CDL Flatbed Driver with specific Moffett truck-mounted forklift experience to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting heavy, bulky, or high-value commercial freight on a flatbed trailer and independently managing the unloading process directly at client job sites. This position requires a high level of logistical precision, physical stamina, and a strong commitment to DOT compliance and secure transit. Key Responsibilities Safe Commercial Transport: Operate a Class A commercial tractor-trailer combination safely over local and regional routes in strict accordance with all FMCSA and DOT regulations. Independent Site Offloading: Securely mount, dismount, and operate a Moffett truck-mounted forklift to unload freight directly onto unimproved terrain or crowded construction/job sites. Precision Load Securement: Take full accountability for securing cargo on the flatbed trailer using straps, chains, binders, and tarps to ensure zero shifting or damage during transit. Compliance & Inspections: Perform required pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip safety inspections on both the tractor-trailer assembly and the Moffett equipment. Operational Reporting: Accurate and timely logging of Hours of Service (HOS) via Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) and managing delivery manifests or customer sign-offs through handheld dispatch applications. Qualifications & Requirements Licensing: Active, valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with an updated DOT Medical Card. Verifiable Experience: Minimum of 1 to 2 years of commercial flatbed driving experience, with at least 6 months of hands-on experience operating a Moffett or similar piggyback forklift. Safety Record: Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with zero major violations or preventable accidents within the past 3 years. Physical Capabilities: Ability to pull, secure, and climb onto flatbed trailers, handle heavy-duty tie-down gear, lift up to 50 lbs, and work outdoors in fluctuating weather conditions. Testing: Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings, including a DOT background check and a drug and alcohol test. Pay: From $1,200.00 per week Work Location: On the road
