Fruhling FarmsJob Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced Class A CDL Farm Employee to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will operate commercial trucks with a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) to transport agricultural products, equipment, and supplies across various routes. Your expertise in truck driving, logistics cargo handling, and adherence to safety regulations will ensure timely deliveries and efficient farm operations. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, refrigerated trailers, and other commercial trucks following FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Plan and execute over-the-road (OTR) driving routes, ensuring timely delivery of freight and farm supplies Load and unload freight using manual handling techniques or equipment such as forklifts, adhering to safety protocols for hazardous materials and dangerous goods Use GPS navigation systems to follow optimized routes and ensure accurate delivery schedules Transport refrigerated cargo, hazardous materials, or other specialized freight while complying with hazardous materials regulations Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle inspections, and cargo documentation in accordance with FMCSA regulations Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure truck safety and compliance Skills Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record and experience in commercial truck driving Proficiency in driving manual transmission trucks and tractor-trailers Knowledge of logistics cargo handling, including load & unload procedures for freight such as freight, hazardous materials, or dangerous goods Experience with route driving using GPS navigation tools for efficient deliveries Familiarity with DOT regulations, FMCSA standards, and hazardous materials regulations Ability to handle manual handling tasks safely during loading/unloading processes Experience in delivery driving within farm or agricultural settings preferred Strong understanding of truck loading/unloading techniques for flatbed or tanker trucks Join us as a Class A CDL Farm Employee and become an essential part of our team dedicated to delivering quality products efficiently while maintaining the highest safety standards.
