Class A CDL Dump Truck Driver

Work Site: Canby, OR Compensation: $25.00–$34.00/hour, based on experience Shift: Monday–Friday Employment Status: Full-time Our active construction team in Canby is looking for skilled Class A CDL Dump Truck Drivers to support our daily operations. We are seeking professionals who are proficient in driving manual transmission trucks and have a background in hauling equipment across various project locations. Core Responsibilities Manage the operation of dump trucks and various heavy-duty vehicles with a focus on safety. Ensure the efficient movement of construction materials and machinery between different project sites. Support the loading and unloading of necessary supplies. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after every shift. Help maintain a secure working environment by strictly adhering to all traffic regulations and safety protocols. Coordinate effectively with dispatch teams and on-site staff. Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all driving and delivery activities. Notify management promptly regarding any mechanical concerns or maintenance requirements. Provide assistance with the handling of materials and equipment as the situation demands. Qualifications Possession of a current and valid Class A CDL. Must be cleared to operate manual transmission equipment. Prior experience in dump truck operation is highly desirable. Demonstrated proficiency in handling manual transmission vehicles. A verified history of safe and responsible driving. Demonstrate the ability to safely maneuver heavy machinery and trucks to protect team members and property. Strong verbal communication skills and a high level of attention to detail. Dependable means of travel to the Canby, OR facility. Candidates with a background in operating excavators, forklifts, water trucks, or truck and trailer setups will be given priority consideration.
