Work Pattern: Alternates 3 shifts one week and 4 shifts the following week with consistent, year-round Amazon freight. Home Frequency: Home every 2 days—never spend long stretches away from home! What You’ll Do: Safely transport Amazon-branded loads across dedicated regional routes using state-of-the-art equipment and Amazon routing technology. Service round-trip routes seamlessly while upholding strict safety standards both on and off the road. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) to ensure vehicle safety. Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records and communicate effectively with dispatch. Play an important and respected role in keeping Amazon’s commitment to deliver packages safely and on time. Qualifications & Requirements: Age & License: Must be at least 21 years old with an active, valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) (or apply for our limited-space formal CDL training program) . Safety Record: Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and good DAC report with no current CDL suspensions or revocations. Health & Screenings: Must pass a DOT Physical, background check, and pre-employment drug screen. Language & Communication: Able to speak, read, and write in English to communicate with the general public, read traffic signs, respond to official inquiries, and keep reports.
