Class A CDL Driver with Belly Dump Experience

Dean Word Company is seeking dependable, safety-minded Class A CDL Drivers to haul aggregates and asphalt for our highway construction projects. We are looking for experienced tractor-trailer drivers who take pride in safe driving, reliable service, and maintaining their equipment. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer driving experience Experience pulling belly dump and end dump trailers Experience hauling aggregates, base materials, asphalt, or other construction materials preferred Knowledge of safe loading, hauling, and unloading procedures DRIVER QUALIFICATIONS Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Must meet applicable DOT requirements Automatic transmission restriction accepted Standard/manual transmission qualification preferred Dependable, punctual, and committed to safe driving practices Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and jobsite personnel JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Safely haul aggregates, base materials, and asphalt to and from highway construction projects Operate tractor-trailers pulling belly dump and end dump trailers Follow assigned routes, delivery schedules, and jobsite instructions Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Secure loads and follow all applicable DOT regulations and company safety procedures Communicate with dispatch and field personnel regarding deliveries and jobsite conditions Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment Report equipment defects, maintenance needs, and safety concerns promptly WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR A qualified driver with proven tractor-trailer experience, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork.
