With the holidays approaching, FedEx Peak Season means increased freight volume and urgent freight that needs to be moved . We are looking for dependable Class A CDL drivers in Charlotte, NC and surrounding areas who are ready to pick up extra work during the busy holiday season. Best of all — these runs are HOME DAILY. This is a great opportunity for: Drivers looking for a change and interested in joining a FedEx Ground contractor Part-time drivers looking to earn extra money during the holidays Drivers who want to work as floaters and pick up available runs Experienced drivers who want additional work while still being home daily Drivers interested in potentially transitioning into a dedicated position when one becomes available POSITION DETAILS Location: Charlotte, NC and surrounding areas Position: Class A CDL Peak Season / Floater Driver Home Time: HOME DAILY Schedule: Flexible — based on available runs and driver availability Pay: Paid per mile; mileage rate will depend on the assigned run Season: Holiday Peak Season As a floater, you will help cover additional routes, open runs, and increased freight demand during FedEx's busy holiday season. Available routes and mileage may vary from week to week, but drivers will return home daily.
