Class A CDL Driver – Local Routes (Home Daily) BVR Waste & Recycling | Brannon Industrial Group Location: Local Routes Job Type: Full-Time Pay: $20.00–$22.00 per hour Schedule: Local Routes | Home Daily Position Summary BVR Waste & Recycling is hiring a dependable, safety-focused Class A CDL Driver to join our growing team. This full-time position involves operating commercial trucks along assigned local routes, transporting and unloading materials, and providing reliable service to customers. Drivers are responsible for following DOT safety regulations, performing vehicle inspections, maintaining accurate documentation, and working closely with dispatch and operations. Key Responsibilities Safely operate Class A commercial trucks along assigned local routes. Transport, load, and unload materials using appropriate truck equipment and systems. Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Follow all DOT, state, and company safety regulations. Complete Vehicle Condition Reports (VCRs) and other required documentation accurately. Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, supervisors, and team members. Complete assigned customer routes safely and efficiently. Perform minor container repairs as needed. Maintain cleanliness of vehicles and work areas. Respond to spills and other operational concerns according to company safety procedures. Report equipment issues, maintenance needs, and safety concerns promptly. Perform additional duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Air Brakes Endorsement required. Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle safety and DOT regulations. Ability to safely operate heavy commercial trucks and related equipment. Dependable attendance, punctuality, and time-management skills. Ability to follow directions and complete required documentation. Strong communication and customer service skills. Commitment to safe driving practices and company procedures. Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of heavy truck or Class A commercial driving experience. Previous experience in waste collection, recycling, transportation, or related industries. Mechanical aptitude and ability to identify basic equipment maintenance needs. Experience operating truck-mounted loading and unloading systems.
